Which photographer will actually be shooting my event?
Whichever one you like, providing he or she is available, of course! We believe it is important for you to feel comfortable with the person who will be photographing your special occasion. In addition, each photographer's individual work is displayed to assist you in selecting the photographer whose style and artistry best suits your needs.
What is the payment policy and schedule?
Dates are reserved on a first-paid, first-served basis. A non-refundable $2000.00 retainer is required to secure the services of your photographer for your special day. Thirty days before the event, one half of the unpaid balance is due. The final payment is due within seven days of the event. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check and cash.
What happens if my photographer becomes ill or is unable to provide coverage?
No need to worry! We guarantee that if something should happen preventing your photographer from performing his services at your special occasion, we will dispatch one of our other highly qualified photographers to cover your event and reduce your contract fee by $500.00.
Am I required to provide a meal for my photographer?
Yes, please! Our staff works extremely hard throughout the course of your special day, and they build up a big appetite. each photographer and assistant appreciate a hot meal. Please discuss this with your caterer and arrange to have our meals served while your guests are enjoying their main course. This will allow our crew time to eat without missing any momentous photo opportunities.
Do I have the option to purchase my digital files/negatives?
You have the option to purchase your digital files/negatives at the completion of your album(s) and print orders for an additional fee of $500. We highly recommend keeping your digital files/negatives in a safe deposit box for they are not expensive they are priceless.
What are the estimated delivery times for pictures and albums?
We understand how excited you are to see your photographs, and we will make every effort to get them to you as quickly as possible. Ordinarily, the website, CD flip album, CD slide show, and digital portfolio will all be ready within eight weeks from the date of the event. Loose photographs are often ready within six weeks, except during peak season which may take a couple weeks longer. Framing typically adds two weeks to the delivery time. Our custom handmade albums are usually finished within four to six months from the date the complete order has been approved and paid in full.
Do you have a license to conduct a photography business?
Some photographers don’t even have a business license.
Check with the Better Business Bureau for reports on the photographers you are considering.
Now that you’ve answered all my questions, can I have it in writing?
All professional photographers should provide a detailed contact listing the products and services you are purchasing. They should also supply you with paperwork outlining such things as company policies and payment schedules.
Ideally, the terms of the photography agreement will hold the answers to all your questions and concerns.
